Gina had a horrible attitude as if my family ordering was inconveniencing her. . I have been here several times years ago and wasn't surprised when I got there that the parking lot was full. For me though, I'd prefer a place that offeres live jazz band and grown classy crowd where women don't feel the need to be twerking. I had to find her to pay the check and when I couldn't I asked another waitress and she was so darn rude I had to walk away from her.
Ended up at The Tavern and initially were confused bc it was Seat Yourself and one side seemed deserted and the other was bumping. If you are looking to have a good time on a Friday or Saturday night. They seasoned the shrimp perfectly. The lemon pepper wings were your super basic butter and lemon pepper combination, the hot wings were also nothing special. I liked this spot and will definitely return but it doesn't take much to make me happy.
Our waitress even brought over a couple extra wings with their signature lemon pepper sauce that we would definitely order next time! My family cooked a nice meal for me for my birthday, so we ate before we went but did decide to order some drinks. It just causes an automatic feeling of unease. Because of my diet, I chose the grilled shrimp with a baked potato, and corn. Next time I will bring cash or my own pen. I had to ask who my server was and where was their location. The food is consistently delicious.
There is no reason for you to be in the position you are in if you lack personality and drive! I was literally so upset I wanted to take them back but we were already home and settled in. A number of people highlight that the service is acceptable. Since no one seemed interested other than bopping their heads and dancing in their chairs at their tables, we finally got up and started dancing and it wasn't until 30 minutes or so of just us having fun that people started slowly joining us on the dance floor. On Yelp, one of the rating agencies, this restaurant is rated below average. The chicken wrap was very bland and the honey mustard sauce that came with it didn't add much to it. Crickets has been a local Atlanta favorite for years - famous for their wings. He was so spot on that when we were placing our orders he didn't write anything down for five orders with many modifications to what we wanted and miraculously every order came out right!!! The server Gina was very unprofessional.
They need to go back to their original recipe. The manager came out to remove our food from the bill and never felt the need to apologize for the terrible service. Let's just say my money won't be spent there anymore. The atmosphere is social and bustling with energy. We had to hunt down our waitress for everything! We asked the waitress for recommendations and she gave us great options. We ended up on the quiet side and had a delicious meal and wonderful service! The food and drinks are definitely a 4 out of 5. I felt like I was eating bread!!!! Campcreek is not the area you want to be working in with that kind of personality.
The good: the bartender Tiana was great!!! There is no sense of urgency or care with the wait staff. It was virtually empty however there were a few couples in there all booed up. The wings were good and crispy and the fries are fresh cut fries. Lower your expectations when visiting here. You will get eaten alive! Ended up at The Tavern and initially were confused bc it was Seat Yourself and one side seemed deserted and the other was bumping. Subpar food and they steal from customers, I'm just waiting for this place to shut down and something decent replace it! Weak drinks that we didn't even have! Even on slow days good luck.
If you are looking for customer service, you may want to try another place. I kid you not, I will probably never come here again. If it would've had grilled onions and peppers in it that would've put it over the top for me. And for what they are charging. I ordered a chicken wrap with fries and the wife had 10 pieces of hot chicken wings which was delicious. After all this I decided to only tip 10% because of bad service.
When our food started coming out three orders came out and two of was still waiting for our orders to come out. Corners Tavern is a New American restaurant conveniently located in Walnut Creek's Broadway Plaza. But they not only bready but soggy!!!!! We tried a little bit of everything and nothing disappointed! They need to go back to their original recipe. Be very careful about parking. My bestie was in town and wanted to go for some drinks. Food quality is anywhere from just barely average to below average. .
We ended up on the quiet side and had a delicious meal and wonderful service! First the service was horrible! This spot is definitely for the low key types. My baked potato was just a little dry, but still tasty. Then we walked out they ran the police on us about an unpaid tab! I got wings and shrimp. But they not only bready but soggy!!!!! And it finally happened because I asked the ladies at the table next to me to have her come over. I came here this past Saturday for a friend's gathering. Came here to watch a Thursday night game with my family and was disappointed in every way possible.
Wings were delicious and the shrimp was crispy. On a Saturday night it was horrible. Not being funny, but that is very unprofessional. After about 15 minutes the other two orders arrived. It was our first time in Atlanta so we weren't sure where to go for a quick, solid bite to eat. The service is slow and lacks customer service skills.
